Federica Ferrati – Matteo Fossi Duet

The Ferrati-Fossi duet is born with a particular attention to the Early-Twentieth Century French repertoire, with the aim of rediscovering sounds and colours of Belle Époque, even making use of historical instruments. The duet recorded on a vintage Pleyel (1867) pieces by Gabriel Faurè, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel.

With this repertoire, the duet performed in Italy and abroad in prestigious halls, like Serres d’Auteuil in Paris, the Chopin Museum in Warsaw, the Italian Institute of Culture and the Doheny Mansion in Los Angeles. They are presently planning the complete playing of piano four-hands works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
